As a new era for the charts dawned, ‘Say It Right’ was every inch the look and sound of a global superstar at the height of her powers.

It took almost 15 months for ‘Beautiful Soul’ to arrive in the UK after being released in America, but it was well worth the wait.

It might not have received a full single release in the UK, but that hasn’t harmed the cult legacy of ‘Your Disco Needs You’.

B.O.N. knew precisely what they were doing with their debut single ‘Boys’, which featured a lot of nudity…and nuns.

‘I Won’t Change You’ is a routinely overlooked and disregarded single from Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s second album. But it’s not that bad…is it?

‘The Loving Kind’ feels like the product of a perfect moment in time where Girls Aloud’s critical acclaim matched their commercial success.

‘Rescue Me’ gave Ultra their first top ten single. But, rather ironically, that still wasn’t enough to save them.

‘Save Our Love’ was a product of record label contingency planning that Eternal didn’t need. All the same, this was too good not to release.
